My client is a fast-growing fabless manufacturer of analog and mixed signal IC solutions, providing full turnkey custom ASIC development and manufacturing supply chain services. Their technology solutions enable them to quickly adapt to their customer’s ever evolving requirements. They ARE NOT a design services company, rather they are an adaptable custom ASIC solution provider.

In addition to custom ASICs, they offer standard products targeting broad markets, specializing in Analog Front End SOICs (System On Integrated Circuit). communications and audio applications, augmented and virtual reality, and so much more.

All East Coast (North Carolina based) …Green card or Citizens only.  Relocation package offered plus healthy benefits.

This team is seeking an experienced software developer with focus on development on embedded targets.  This individual will be responsible for the growth in standard product offerings and the necessary App and embedded software libraries that unlock their magic.  Candidates will also be responsible for documentation, training and customer support using these libraries worldwide.

This candidate will be a key player in shaping the firmware development process and infrastructure at the company.  This includes selecting and establishing embedded development toolchains and development processes.

Minimum Requirements...

  • 3 Years Professional Experience

  • Proficiency in C/C++

  • Deep understanding development tools including but not limited to:

  • Make – GCC – GDB - Hardware Debuggers

  • Embedded Processors, Peripherals and Communication Protocols

  • Basic Hardware Prototyping and rework ability

 

Preferred Requirements

  • Android/iOS App development - Simple PC Application Development - RTOS  

  • Embedded Linux BSP generation and bring-up

  • FPGAs and Verilog

  • Schematic and PCB Development, ideally using Altium Designer

  • Unity or Unreal Engine experience
