My client is an established international company looking for a Senior Field Application Engineer, for its US team. The right candidate will help manage their US and International customer base. They are a very successful company that builds technology that enables engineers to design and implement the complex, powerful, transforming systems-on-chip (SoC). They are already part of your automobile, smartphone, digital TV, or other modern electronic device. From tiny, ultra-low power IoT chips to some of the world’s most advanced AI-powered autonomous driving SoCs, their advanced network-on-chip interconnect and IP deployment technologies have enabled 2.8 billion IP-connected chips to date.
Responsibilities include: Proven proficiency in SOC Architecture and Front-End Design - Evaluate and Qualify the technical viability of the opportunity - Work with and communicate issues for resolution to the R&D team - Lead technical presentations, demonstrations, evaluations, and benchmarks. - Position the company’s solutions to assist sales team with powerful bids. - Effectively communicate the value-added offerings and solutions to customers. - Maintain ongoing relationships with customers. - Participate, along with the R&D team, to customers’ solution implementation, field assistance and testing
In addition, you will Develop technical content, articles, and demonstration - Provide support and training to internal customers -Effectively communicate the value-added solutions to customers - Maintain ongoing relationships with customers - Participate, along with the R&D team, in customers’ solution implementation, field assistance, and testing
BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (MS or above preferred) + 5 years of application engineering experience or similar
You must have proven experience and proficiency in many of the following areas: SOC architecture - Front End design - Verification (UVM) - SOC Integration, IP integration, Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog, SystemC - Python, TCL - IP-XACT and IP reuse methodology
