About the Role


Develop and execute sales strategies to drive adoption of cloud and data management solutions across global semiconductor accounts.
Identify new market opportunities and expand into emerging or adjacent semiconductor segments.
Serve as a trusted advisor by articulating the business value and technical benefits of large-scale cloud data movement and management.
Manage, mentor, and eventually build a high-performing, geographically distributed sales team to exceed revenue goals.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to align solutions with customer needs and industry trends.
Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
Accurately forecast sales performance and pipeline activity using CRM and analytics platforms.
Represent the company at global industry events to elevate brand visibility and customer engagement.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of enterprise technology sales experience, including at least 5 years selling cloud, data storage, or data management solutions.

  • Proven track record selling complex, high-value technical solutions to global semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing customers.

  • Deep understanding of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and large-scale data movement/storage technologies.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing, developing, or collaborating with geographically dispersed teams.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive-level presentation skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred.

  • Existing network and relationships within semiconductor and related technology markets.

  • Experience with both direct and channel sales models, ideally within high-growth or scaling-stage companies.

  • Expertise negotiating with C-level executives and technical decision-makers at global semiconductor companies.

  • Proficiency using CRM and analytics platforms to optimize sales performance and generate strategic insights.

My client is seeking a visionary Director of Storage/Cloud Data Solutions Sales—a highly motivated and experienced leader capable of driving business growth across the EDA/Semiconductor industry and any vertical transferring massive amounts of data.
This role requires a proven sales leader with deep technical and commercial expertise in cloud, storage, and large-scale data solutions. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth and scaling both national and international markets. A background in EDA/Semiconductor is a strong plus.
The right candidate combines strategic sales leadership with a hands-on, customer-focused approach, driving both adoption and revenue.
This game-changing platform delivers significant value to organizations needing enhanced compute resources—combining CPU and GPU accessibility whenever and wherever required. The ideal candidate understands large-scale data movement in cloud environments and can clearly articulate the value of this advanced technology. They will have deep experience selling complex cloud/storage-based solutions to global accounts and will gradually build high-performing, geographically dispersed sales teams.
Although this is a Director-level role, it is also a bag-carrying individual contributor position. You will own key accounts and drive opportunities from prospecting through close.
